Our Seattle Writes program offers you time and space to experiment and improve your creative writing. We offer year-round drop-in writing circles, a fall series of classes, and recordings available anytime.
Community Resource Specialist
Our Community Resource Specialist can help you find shelter, mental health counseling, job training, food assistance, legal help, domestic violence support or medical help. We also loan Wi-Fi hotspots and books to those living in encampments.

All Lake City Branch EventsAbout the Lake City Branch
The current Lake City Branch was expanded and reopened Oct. 22, 2005. It is part of a municipal center that also includes a City of Seattle Customer Service Center, park and parking garage. The building has a grand entrance courtyard with bronze gates by renowned Seattle artist and sculptor George Tsutakawa.
