Our Seattle Writes program offers you time and space to experiment and improve your creative writing. We offer year-round drop-in writing circles, a fall series of classes, and recordings available anytime.

Community Resource Specialist

Our Community Resource Specialist can help you find shelter, mental health counseling, job training, food assistance, legal help, domestic violence support or medical help. We also loan Wi-Fi hotspots and books to those living in encampments.

About the Columbia Branch

The current Columbia Branch was expanded and reopened Aug. 22, 2004. The building is in the Columbia City Landmark District and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has a reading room, a computer area with a skylight, and large windows throughout the branch with views of the nearby Columbia Park.
