The Seattle Public Library Offers Business Strategies for Artists at Free Aug. 4 Workshop

Have you ever been told your art is so good you should be selling it? The Seattle Public Library will teach you strategies to help turn your art into a business from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 4, Howard S. Wright Family & Janet W. Ketcham Meeting Room 2, 206-386-4636.
Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage for $7.
Explore 20 practical steps for turning your art into a part- or full-time business. You'll learn about auctions and contests, promotion, and embracing the internet as a sales and marketing platform. This workshop is for all visual artists, 2D and 3D, working in any type of medium, including watercolor, ceramics, photography and jewelry.
