On Tuesday, September 12, all locations of The Seattle Public Library will open at 3 p.m. to allow for all staff to participate in a system-wide meeting about the Library’s future strategic plan.

The Library is working with strategic planning experts from Territory North America, Inc. to develop a new long-term strategic plan that is shaped by Library patrons, community members and staff. The plan will emphasize the role and impact the Library can make in our community. A draft plan is expected to be complete by the end of 2023. You can learn more about the development of the Library’s strategic plan at www.spl.org/future.
