Sketches from Outside the Margins
Sketches from Outside the Margins: Stories from the Seattle/King County Clinic is an exhibit of comics that tell the stories of patients at the Seattle/King County Clinic. The exhibit was on view at Central Library from August 20 to September 24, 2018.
About the Exhibit
At Seattle/King County Clinic--a giant, free pop-up clinic held at KeyArena--a dozen local cartoonists gathered stories from patients about the reasons they sought healthcare there. The comics they created from these stories offer intimate and often touching accounts of what it’s like to negotiate the healthcare system as a person in need. Sketches from Outside the Margins showcased a selection of these stories. The exhibit was on view at Central Library from August 20 to September 24, 2018.
