The Seattle Public Library Presents Thrilling Tales in March

Need a break from the mundane? The Seattle Public Library offers "Thrilling Tales: A Story Time for Grown Ups" where you can laugh, gasp and shudder to live readings during your lunch or evening.

- 12:05 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. Monday, March 16 – "Journey to Death" by Donald Westlake. Their ship went down but he survived, only to be trapped with a madman at the bottom of the sea. Also, "Island of Fear" by William Sambrot. A tiny dot on the map holds ancient treasures, and ancient terrors!
- 12:05 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. Monday, March 30 – "The New You" by Kit Reed. 'Watch the Old You melt away!' the ad had promised. If only she’d read the instruction manual first!
