Looking for something to do on early release days? The Seattle Public Library has some new programs for students ages 11-14 – eat snacks, chat with other people your age, and create art or solve puzzles!

Snack. Chat. Make. - 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays, May 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 at the Wallingford Branch, 1501 N. 45th St., 206-684-4088. Come to this new program just for middle schoolers! We'll have snacks, conversations and crafts.

Snack. Chat. Solve. - 3:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Fridays, May 10, 17, 24 and 31 at the Southwest Branch, 9010 35th Ave. S.W., 206-684-7455. Do you love to figure out problems, mysteries, and solve puzzles? Then come to this new program just for middle schoolers.  Meet new friends as you solve a new scavenger hunt together each week.
