The Seattle Youth Poet Laureate (YPL) program aims to identify youth writers and leaders who are committed to poetry, performance, civic and community engagement, education, and equity across the Puget Sound region. YPL is a program of Seattle Arts & Lectures’ Writers in the Schools (WITS) program.


Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Free parking is available in the Capitol Hill Branch's underground garage.
