New citizens of the United States will be sworn in during a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) naturalization ceremony from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 13 at The Seattle Public Library, Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium, 206-386-4636.

Library programs and events are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage at the regular rates.

At the ceremony, 62 citizen applicants from 23 countries will take the Oath of Allegiance and become U.S. citizens. The ceremony will include a key note speech from Mayor Jenny Durkan, as well as presentations given by USCIS staff.
