The Medieval Women's Choir will perform a lunchtime preview of their upcoming concert from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Saturday, March 11 at the Green Lake Branch, 7364 E. Green Lake Dr. N., 206-684-7547.

Library programs are free and open to the public. No registration is required. Free parking is available in the branch parking lot.

The choir will perform selections from its upcoming concert "Pilgrim's Progress." In the Middle Ages, pilgrims went on pilgrimages both due to religious fervor and the opportunity to see the world. This concert explores the music that pilgrims would have encountered along their route.

Formed in 1990, the Medieval Women's Choir studies and performs medieval music. It presents three concerts a year at different venues, including churches, synagogues and performance halls.
