Apply for Work With a Conviction History: Job-seeking Workshops at The Seattle Public Library

Formerly incarcerated individuals can get help applying for employment at three workshops this summer and fall at The Seattle Public Library.
Library events are free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
The workshops will provide preparation tips and strategies to answer criminal background questions.

"This is a really valuable resource for patrons with conviction histories and for local case managers," says Elizabeth Windsor, librarian at The Seattle Public Library. "We’ve received overwhelmingly positive evaluations from attendees, and it addresses two of the Library's Service Priorities: community engagement and technology & access."
