If you love cookbooks, don't miss this special, one-day-only Friends of The Seattle Public Library book sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 at Tavolàta Capitol Hill, 501 E. Pike St.

Hundreds of beautiful, donated cookbooks will be available with a variety of topics and cuisines. All cookbooks will be individually priced starting at $4. Some of these hand selected cookbooks will have been gently used, others will be like new.

Space will be limited; once capacity is reached, sale-goers will experience a wait time. Shoppers are asked to bring their own bags for purchases. Book scanners will not be permitted at this event. Cash, debit, Visa and MasterCard will be accepted.

  • Seattle Antiquarian Book Fair - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13 at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall, 301 Mercer St., Booth #810. The Friends are joining the Seattle Antiquarian Book Fair for the first time!
  • Better Book Sale - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at North Seattle College, 9600 College Way N. Individually priced, gift-quality books starting at $3!
  • Huge Book Sale - The Friends' annual sale will be March 13-15, 2020.
