Help Shape Library Services Around ‘Technology & Access’ June 3 With City Librarian Marcellus Turner

How can The Seattle Public Library improve technology services for you?
Seattle City Librarian Marcellus Turner wants to hear your ideas at a Community Conversation around technology and access to technology from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 3 at the 2100 Building, 2100 24th Ave. S.
Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Free parking is available on-street, in a street-level garage accessed through the alley and in the fenced area across the street from the building (next to the pharmacy). Light refreshments will be provided.
At this event, attendees will:
Hear from local groups leading technology initiatives that support Seattle students, small businesses, immigrants and refugees and the insecurely housed
Learn about cool technology and online resources offered by the Library - bring a smartphone, tablet or other device
Meet friends and neighbors, or network with other community organizations involved in digital literacy efforts.
The Technology and Access Community Conversation is part of a series of community discussions Turner is having on five service priorities that are guiding the future of the Library. The series has included a conversation about youth and family learning, as well as community engagement, re-imagined Library spaces and Seattle culture and history.
Everyone is welcome to attend and discuss the changing nature and future of technology and access at the Library.
