Join our community conversation on the State of the Library with Executive Director and Chief Librarian Marcellus Turner from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 at the Columbia Branch, 4721 Rainier Ave. S., 206-386-1908. 

Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Free parking is available. Light refreshments will be provided.

From 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Chief Librarian Marcellus Turner will present the Library's achievements and services. The presentation will be followed by an audience Q&A session. This event is a chance to:

  • Tell your Chief Librarian how the Library can better serve you and your neighborhood.
  • Learn about innovative programs and services.
  • Understand how the Library’s goals and service priorities support learning for everyone.
  • Find out results from a recent patron survey on Library programs and services.
