"Carnal Knowledge" is a burlesque show designed to educate and entertain about the art form of burlesque. The show will explore the forms and functions of the art, the local history of burlesque and the idea of audience/performer consent with titillating live performances. Hosted by Donatella Howe, performers will include Miss Kitty Baby, The Marquis Façade, Mx. Pucks A'Plenty and more!

We'll have a table where you can sign up for a Library card and check out books on burlesque. We'll also display vintage photos of burlesque performers from our Special Collections, featuring performers from Seattle's World's Fair.
