Learn the key concepts of working with open data, including what it is and how to use it, at a free workshop from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 at The Seattle Public Library, Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium, 206-386-4636 .

Library events are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage for $7.

At this event, attendees will learn about different aspects of open data, engage with fellow community members and learn from open data leaders. There will be two breakout sessions, with experience tracks for both basic and intermediate levels.
